Day 1: Arrival in Tangier - Chefchaouen
Our first day in northern Morocco begins with a welcome in Tangier, a beautiful city overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. We’ll visit the Cave of Hercules, a fascinating archaeological site, then head to Cape Spartel, where we’ll enjoy breathtaking views. After lunch, we’ll move on to Chefchaouen, the enchanting blue city, passing through Tetouan and the Rif Mountains. Overnight at a hotel in Chefchaouen.
Day 2: Sightseeing tour of Chefchaouen, the Blue City
After breakfast, we’ll begin our exploration of Chefchaouen, known for its enchanting blue colors. We’ll explore its old city, where we’ll discover the beauty of its alleyways and blue doors. You’ll have the opportunity to have lunch at a local restaurant. Next, we’ll take a walking tour to the Spanish Mosque, where we’ll enjoy a breathtaking view of the city. Finally, we’ll return to the hotel, after an enjoyable day in the beautiful city of Chefchaouen.
Day 3: Chefchaouen - Volubilis Roman Ruins - Meknes - Fes
After breakfast, we’ll begin our day by wandering through the beautiful blue alleys of Chefchaouen. We’ll then visit the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, featuring beautiful mosaics, columns, and ancient arches. Next, we’ll take a trip to the imperial city of Meknes, where we’ll visit Bab Mansour, the Basin of the Souani Cistern, the Royal Stables, the Granary, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. Finally, we’ll travel to Fez, where we’ll spend the night in a luxurious riad
Day 4: Guided tour of Fez
After breakfast, we’ll begin our exploration of Fez, Morocco’s cultural and religious capital. We’ll visit the Royal Palace, then enter the old medina, where we’ll discover the Bou Inania Madrasa, the Nejjarine Spring, the tanneries, and the Al-Qarawiyyin Mosque and University, the oldest university in the world. Next, we’ll visit the Mellah, the Jewish quarter, before heading to an old fort for panoramic views of the city. Finally, we’ll return to your riad, after a delightful day in Fez.
5 Days Fez - Rabat - Casablanca
On the last day of our trip to northern Morocco, we’ll leave Fez after breakfast and head to Rabat, the capital of Morocco. We’ll explore the city’s main landmarks, including the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Kasbah of the Udayas. After lunch, we’ll move on to Casablanca, Morocco’s economic hub, where we might visit the Hassan II Mosque, the largest mosque in Morocco. Finally, we’ll transfer you to the airport, bringing our five-day trip to northern Morocco to a close.
